Reiki 1 French Experience Week Retreat

Over the week you will nourish your body with daily yoga and meditation sessions and several local walks. After a series of workshops you will also gain your Reiki 1 qualification, which will enable you to heal and harmonise yourself and others, physically, emotionally and spiritually. We will take full advantage of our beautiful setting by visiting local châteaux, medival villages and markets to sample local delights. There will also be a day of exploration which will make you fall in love with stunning part of France. 

Sunday

Arrival day! You can either make your own way to the retreat centre or an airport pickup can be arranged by sending me a message on the CONNECT page.

The afternoon will be spent settling in and if there is time we can go for a 5k walk in the local area.

We will come together in the evening for the opening cermony followed by a delicious vegetarian meal.

Monday

8am - Morning yoga and meditation.

9am - Breakfast

10am - Reiki course workshop.

12:30pm - Cafe lunch by the river in medieval Sauveterre de Bearn.

2pm - Visit to Château de Laàs.

6 pm - Time to relax or sound bath.

7pm - Dinner (vegetarian) at the gite.

Tuesday

8am - Morning yoga and meditation.

9am - Breakfast

10am - Reiki course workshop.

12:30pm - Traditional 3 course lunch at a local auberge/restaurant.

2pm - Local walk (approximately 10k.)

6pm - Time to relax or restorative yoga.

7pm - Dinner (vegetarian) at the gite.

Wednesday

8am - Morning yoga and meditation.

9am - Breakfast

10am - Reiki course workshop.

12:30pm - Traditional 3 course lunch at a local auberge/restaurant.

2pm - Reiki course workshop.

6pm - Time to relax or  practise Reiki.

7pm - Dinner (vegetarian) at the gite.

Thursday

8am - Morning yoga and meditation.

9am - Breakfast

10am - Visit local French market at the Spa town of Salies de Bearn.

12:30pm - Lunch at Salies de Bearn.

2pm - Individual Reiki treatments by Lorena (or option of visiting Spa.)

7pm - Dinner (vegetarian) at the gite.

Friday

8am - Morning yoga and meditation.

9am - Breakfast

Exploring France Day - Here are some options:

• Exploring the beautiful, historical city of Pau
• Vineyard tour around Jurançon and Monein
• Visit Biarritz - possibility of shopping and sea swimming
• Hiking (3 - 4 hours) - In the Pyrennes mountains to Lac D'Ayous
• Hiking (3 - 4 hours) - Along the stunning Atlantic coast from Guéthary down to St Jean de Luz

(Choice will be made together)

6pm - Closing Ceremony

7pm - Dinner (vegetarian) at the gite

All food and drink (at the retreat) are included. 

Airport transfers can be arranged.
