The Accommodation
The gite has been loving renovated by ourselves. (Well, David did most of the work!) When we first bought the place, back in 2018, it was a wreck! No bathroom, no kitchen, but now it is a picturesque, comfortable, well-equipped 3 bedroomed house for you to enjoy.

Double Bedroom - ground floor
This downstairs bedroom has a mixture of traditonal old French pieces, an African chest and a bespoke handcrafted copper piping and ancient bamboo clothes stand. The ceiling light is an original which has been lovingly rewired.

Double Bedroom - first floor
This spacious bedroom is characterised by a traditional sloping ceiling and its uniquely shaped door. The addition of a skylight makes it a bright and cheerful haven for you to relax in.

Twin Bedroom - first floor
This bedroom's ceiling has the beautiful old beams exposed which shows the hidden character of this building. The view from the Velux window over the barn roof to the old oak tree changes constantly with the seasons.

Kitchen
The kitchen is the hub of the house with its antique extendible dining table and chairs. The kitchen is fully eqipped with oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge and washing machine. In winter the pellet burner keeps the room toasty warm.
Off the kitchen there is a small private garden with a BBQ and a picnic table that seats 6.

Bathroom
Previously there was no bathroom in the house, so of course, it has all brand new fittings! There is high pressure shower with a multiple jets option if you would like a massage while you shower, a heated towel rail and hairdryer for your convenience.

Living Room
The living is a cosy place for you to relax in and if you want to practise your French and you can watch some French TV. There are lots of iigsaw puzzles and board games, such as 'Backgammon' and 'The Game of Life', available for you to enjoy quality time with others.
